Nola Vongsavanh has been on the golf course with her father Lonnie and her sister Laila since before she can remember.
“Fresh out of the womb, he was like, ‘ya’ll are playing golf,'” she said.
“As we get older, spending quality time with them, four or five hours with them, three or four times a week is pretty cool,” added Lonnie. “I told them, ‘you want to spend time with me, you’ve got to play golf.’”
Nola and Laila said they have enjoyed the quality time with their father over the years. They have also learned to enjoy the game.
“We have fun together,” Laila said.
They may have fun, but they are also competitive.
“We do a lot of fun things,” Lonnie said. “Every weekend, we have a bunch of guys, and everybody will put in $20 or $30 and we’ll do closest to the pin or skin
