Dog attacks person and other pets in Bedminster

Nine people have been arrested by police for suspected drugs supply, shoplifting and vehicle crime offences in a crackdown in south Bristol.

The five-day action by Avon and Somerset police ran from August 25-29.

Teams responded to crimes causing what they called the most harm in the local community, resulting in the nine arrests.

Three people have since been charged.

A 45-year-old man was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs - heroin and crack cocaine.

He also faced two counts of possession of an offensive weapon following a drugs warrant in Bedminster on Tuesday, August 26.
