When Italian restaurant Prego made the tough decision to take pizzas off the menu at the start of the year, there were almost riots in the streets of Westbury Park and Henleaze.

OK, that might be a slight exaggeration, but the regulars weren’t best pleased and what had been a much-needed money-saving decision by owners Olly Gallery and Julian Faiello soon started to backfire.

Thankfully, Olly and Julian have broad shoulders after 14 years of running this well supported neighbourhood restaurant and their former lives as local floorlayers means they know all about customer satisfaction.
