WASHINGTON —

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced a contentious Senate hearing, where lawmakers challenged his recent healthcare changes, including his skepticism about established vaccines.

President Donald Trump expressed support for Kennedy during a dinner with tech industry leaders at the White House Thursday night, stating, "He's a very good person and he means very well, and he's got some little different ideas."

"He's got a different take and we want to listen to all of those takes," Trump said.

Trump further emphasized his approval of Kennedy's distinct approach, saying he likes RFK Jr. and appreciates his differences.

Kennedy recently ousted CDC Director Susan Monarez and has been altering the nation's vaccine policies, raising concerns among some senators.
