A man described by police as “manipulative and charismatic” is being sought in connection with the killing of a 67-year-old man found dead inside the victim’s Scottsdale home, authorities said.

Detectives are looking for the suspect, Matthew Dieringer, who police stated in a release “has a history of experiencing homelessness, and has been described as manipulative and charismatic, often befriending others to assist him with a place to stay.”

Dieringer is 35 years old, 6-feet-3 inches, 185 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes, police said.
