The August Jobs report was released by the Beaureau of Labor Statistics on Friday and the number is brutal for Donald Trump. Only 22,000 jobs were added in August, indicating a stall in the economy, while the unemployment rate rose to 4.3%. Hiring in the U.S has ground to a halt.

The BLS report also revised the June and July jobs reports down a combined 21,000 jobs lower than previously reported.

The previous terrible jobs report for July led to Trump firing BLS Commissioner Dr. Erika McEntarfer after claiming she had rigged the numbers to make him look bad.
