CHIAGO — While flirting with deploying National Guard troops to Chicago, President Donald Trump has in recent weeks invoked images of murderers running amok and carnage in the city.
“Chicago is a hellhole right now,” Trump said at Tuesday press conference in the Oval Office, saying that the city is the “murder capital of the world.”
