LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Lake Charles Police say they are responding to a crash near the intersection of E. McNeese and Brown Street this morning.

Lt. Jeffrey Keenum says there were injuries as a result of the crash, but they can not confirm the severity of those injuries at this time.

If you are traveling along E. McNeese Street in the area, you may want to take an alternative route, as Google Maps is showing that traffic is backed up along the roadway.
