The Boston Bruins are in a bit of a strange spot heading into the 2025-26 season. After missing the postseason last year, the B’s worked on retooling their roster this offseason in an effort to get back on track, but it remains to be seen whether they made enough improvements to reemerge as a playoff contender.

Not much went right for the Bruins last season. After making a surprise run to the Eastern Conference semifinals the year before, Boston struggled from the get-go in the 2024-25 campaign, and it was never able to find its footing amid a slew of injuries and an early coaching change that resulted in Jim Montgomery getting fired.
