PUTNAM COUNTY, Indiana — Police in Putnam County arrested two women in connection with a fatal crash earlier this summer.

Stacey Larae Northington, 35, faces a formal charge of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, while 33-year-old Leanna Marie Boles was charged with assisting a criminal, according to online court records. Both women are from Putnam County.

The crash was reported July 31, 2025, in the 3000 block of West U.S. 36.

Responding Putnam County Sheriff's Department deputies found an unconscious man, later identified as Bobby McIntosh, of Greencastle, lying on the ground. McIntosh later died from his injuries.
