Zach Mitchell has finally completed his move to Hibs from Charlton. ‌

A deal to take the centre back to Easter Road on loan for the rest of the season was struck on Deadline Day. ‌

However, a glitch in the FIFA system wouldn't allow the transfer to be registered. ‌

Scottish FA blazers lobbied the world governing body on the Hibees' behalf in a bid to get the switch rubber stamped .

And that has paid dividends, with the Easter Road club confirming Mitchell's arrival from the Addicks on Friday. ‌

Boss David Gray admitted Mitchell caught his eye while on loan at relegated St Johnstone last season.
