Earlier this summer, the Chicago Blackhawks announced plans to establish a team Hall of Fame ahead of their Centennial season to honor the most iconic figures in franchise history.
Each year, two ballots will be created: one for Modern Era players (2000-01 season or later) and one for Heritage Era players (1999-2000 season or earlier).
On Friday, the Blackhawks revealed their inaugural class of inductees: Duncan Keith from the Modern Era and Steve Larmer from the Heritage Era. The selections were determined by votes from fans, alumni and media.
