CLEMSON — Clemson football eyes its first win of the season after suffering an upset home loss in Week 1.
No. 8 Clemson will host Troy, a Group of Five program, on Sept. 6 (3:30 p.m. ET, ACC Network) at Memorial Stadium. The Tigers (0-1) are paying the Trojans (1-0) $1.5 million to face them.
No. 4 LSU beat Clemson 17-10 in Week 1, causing Dabo Swinney 's team to drop its third straight season opener and fourth consecutive game to an SEC opponent. Clemson is in a similar position from last season, when it lost to Georgia in Week 1 but rebounded to dominate its Week 2 opponent. Clemson looks to repeat that success against Troy, which beat Nicholls 38-20 on Aug. 30. Buy Clemson football tickets
