The Ryan Heights Youth Centre, located at 736 Bruce Ave., held an open house on Thursday to celebrate upgrades and the addition of new equipment to the facility.
Over the summer, the centre received a refresh that included a mural on the interior walls and new flooring, the City of Greater Sudbury said in a release. Additions also included a television, Nintendo Switch, hockey sticks, basketball equipment and rollerblades.

Ward 5 Coun. Mike Parent and staff from the city’s Parks and Recreation Services attended the event to help mark the reopening and thank sponsors.
