A pedestrian path will replace a lane on 14th Street in Bangor.

That will affect traffic traveling on 14th Street from Valley Avenue to Ohio Street along Mount Pleasant Cemetery, according to the city.

The paved path will allow walkers and bikers to travel from the Kenduskeag Stream Trail to Ohio Street, the city said Friday.

Signs and cones will be out during construction.

The work is being done in conjunction with the Maine Department of Transportation.
