One thing the Titans won’t have to worry about during the 2025 season — at least not in the early going — is having a target on their back.

Coming off a 3-14 season in 2024, expectations for the team are very low, even with the addition of rookie quarterback Cam Ward, the first overall pick in the NFL Draft.

A sampling of 10 power rankings from significant football sites — all made following the NFL’s final preseason games — listed the Titans between No. 26 and No. 31, with an average rank of No. 29 heading into Sunday’s season opener in Denver.
