AUSTIN (KXAN) — Marble Falls has a new city manager who's already served the city for 20 years.
Caleb Kraenzel was promoted from deputy city manager to the new role after Mike Hodge led the city for 10 years.
“[Kraenzel] has grown within our organization and proven to be a steady, thoughtful, and forward-thinking leader,” said Mayor John Packer. “This is someone who already knows our culture, understands our community, and has earned the trust of staff and Council.”
The city said Kraenzel has been involved in infrastructure improvements, strategic planning, and fiscal management. As city manager, he'll focus on providing high-quality services and programs for the community and building trust and connection.
