SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters are working to put out a large fire at Avista Stadium right now.

The fire broke out early Friday morning, and a KREM 2 News crew on the scene saw one of the walls of a building in front of the stadium collapse in the flames. There is no known cause of the fire at this time.

Senior Vice President of the Spokane Indians Otto Klein said the fire is isolated to the main concession stand. There are no injuries as of now. There is no known cause of the fire at this time.

Klein said the main concession building that's on fire isn't connected to any other building on the property.

With the stand being a complete loss, Klein said they hope to have it rebuilt before the start of next season.
