NBC'S cameras showed the loud reaction to the Dallas Cowboys' entrance to the field against the hostile home team Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dallas Cowboys wouldn't get the last laugh, however, as they lost 24-20 on Thursday night.

The Cowboys and Eagles are heated rivals, and that fact was on full display in the NFL season-opener.

The first showing of hostility came when the Cowboys entered Lincoln Financial Field minutes before the game.

NBC 's cameras captured the Dallas players in the tunnel waiting for their cue to enter the field.

The Cowboys players then got the okay to jog onto the field, but they were greeted with loud booing from the Philadelphia crowd.

Play-by-play man Mike Tirico commented on the City of Brotherly Love's reaction to the Cowboys' field arrival.
