A Marion County Sheriff's Office deputy shot and injured a man in the early morning hours of Sept. 5, according to a sheriff's office Facebook post. The man was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a Reddick home about 2:45 a.m. to investigate a report of a suspicious person.
