Rolling Ray, a beloved social-media personality and reality-TV star, has died. He was 28. The Zeus Network, whose shows he appeared on, announced his death Wednesday night on Instagram , and his mother later confirmed the news to TMZ .

Rolling Ray, whose real name was Juan “Raymond” Harper, lived in Washington, D.C. He had over 450,000 followers on Instagram, where he proudly dubbed himself “the most famous boy inna wheelchair.” In 2022, he starred in and produced the Zeus Network’s reality-dating show Bobby I Love You, Purrr , and he was known for his appearances on Divorce Court and Catfish: Trolls . He’s also widely credited with coining and popularizing purrr as a slang catchphrase.
