Three suspects were arrested in Livingston Parish on counts of human trafficking after deputies say they allegedly planned to move undocumented immigrants across states for money.

Suspects Kelly Hernandez, 38, and Enrique Gonzales, 27, both of Alabama, were arrested on three counts each of human trafficking. Omar Gonzales, 28, of Mexico, was also arrested on three counts of human trafficking and one count of unlawful entry or re-entry into Louisiana by an illegal alien.

The investigation began when the Denham Springs Police Department contacted the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office in August about a potential kidnapping at a Pilot Gas Station.
