Matt Cohen, best known for playing Griffin Munro on General Hospital , is heading to The Young and the Restless .

Deadline has confirmed that Cohen will play a detective investigating a big case on the CBS sudser. He will make his debut Oct. 16.

Cohen appeared on GH from 2014 to 2022. He also played a young John Winchester on Supernatural . His other credits include Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, How to Get Away with Murder , and 90210.

From 2019 to 2023, Cohen appeared as a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight , which helped him earn two Daytime Emmys.
