Two 17-year-olds have been charged as adults in the deadly shooting of 21-year-old congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym in June , authorities said Friday.

A third person remains sought by police, U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro said. The suspects were in a stolen car when they opened fire and Tarpinian-Jachym was shot four times.

Tarpinian-Jachym was in D.C. for the summer for an internship in Republican Rep. Ron Estes of Kansas' office.

Pirro said the teen suspects now charged with first-degree murder both had “prior violent juvenile records." She spoke about the need to crack down on teens who commit crimes.
