Though surely with still much to work on leading up to its official opener next weekend, the Mt. Hope High School football team, nonetheless, gave ample reason to be positive about the upcoming 2025 season after the Huskies defeated host Moses Brown, 10-0, in their Injury Fund game Thursday afternoon, Sept. 4, on the East Side of Providence.
The scoreboard didn't reflect the dominance of Division II-Mt. Hope against its D-II foes. The Huskies consistently moved the ball down the field on offense while on defense they turned the Quakers over three times, two on interceptions and one via fumble.
