A man and woman have been arrested following an incident at a property in . A 46-year old-woman and 28-year-old man were arrested by on Friday, September 5 after officers put out a public appeal to trace two people.

The pair have been arrested following an incident that took place at a property in Monks Road in the city last week. On Sunday, August 31, officers responded to reports of an assault.

A man in his thirties was found seriously injured at the property and was taken to hospital for treatment. An update shared by the force states: "We appealed this week regarding two people who were wanted on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident on Monks Road in Lincoln.
