EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Halloween season is right around the corner, and Wet N’ Wild Waterworld is going all out this year with its first-ever haunted scaregrounds.

The event will include activities, wandering scare actors, specialty food items and an all-new haunted house experience from 915Live, the creators of The Grove Haunted House, according to Wet N’ Wild in a news release.

The haunted scaregrounds opens on October 3 and will be open select nights through November 1 at the water park, 8804 South Desert Blvd.

The hours of operation are as follows: • Thursdays and Sundays - 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. • Fridays and Saturdays - 7 p.m. - 12 a.m.
