Sheinelle Jones returned to the “Today” show on Friday after nearly five months away following her husband’s death from brain cancer.

Uche Ojeh, Jones’ college sweetheart and husband of 17 years, died in May from aggressive glioblastoma. He was 45.

Jones, a mother of three, describes her nearly two-year journey through his illness and now her grief as a difficult “marathon.”
