A longtime B.C. ball hockey coach has received a lifetime ban from the B.C. Ball Hockey Association.
Jon Silcox accepted a lifetime ban from ball hockey activity, including as a spectator, according to a Sept. 2 notice to members from the association from B.C. Ball Hockey president Zach Moffat.
The notice does not detail any specific reason or cause behind the ban.
Silcox was t he coach for an U18 ball hockey team that won gold at the ISBHF world championships in Slovakia in July 2024.
Silcox is also listed as assistant coach for the Burnaby Steelers hockey team.
