TikTok food critic Mr. Chimetime, based in North Carolina, has been a bit of a menace for New Orleans foodies over the past couple of months after posting critiques of local restaurants.

But the influencer has been showing more love to the Crescent City in his recent videos.

Chimetime, whose real name is Rashad Mooreman, started his extended stay in Louisiana by saying he was disappointed in New Orleans' food.

Mooreman would go on to travel to Lafayette and Acadiana, where he was consistently impressed by smothered dishes and boudin. He declared Lafayette one of the best food cities in the US in competition with Detroit and New York City.

After getting his fill, Mooreman returned to New Orleans, saying locals told him that he was not eating at the best restaurants.
