GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KAKE) - Authorities say a car struck and killed a 34-year-old man who was crossing a highway in Garden City on Friday.

The incident happened at around 7 a.m. on U.S. 50 near Air Links Road. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported James Michael Corbett of Garden City was walking north when he was hit by a westbound vehicle in the outside lane.
