STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A southeast Missouri man was arrested after deputies found drugs during a traffic stop.

Randall Moore, Jr., of Dexter, was charged with felony first-degree trafficking of drugs and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office, Moore, Jr. was arrested during a traffic stop on Wednesday, September 3 at around 8:15 p.m.

The sheriff’s office was assisting the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force as part of an ongoing drug investigation when they stopped the vehicle for not having a front license plate.

Deputies say Moore, Jr. was a passenger in the vehicle and had three clear plastic baggies containing methamphetamine.

They say the total weight of the drugs seized was about 3 ounces.
