A 29-year-old woman fell to her death at the Mogollon Rim last weekend.

The woman had been camping with friends near the cliff edge, in the Forest Lakes area, according to a news bulletin from the Coconino County Sheriff's Office.

She had reportedly walked away from the campsite to use the restroom after dark. She fell 120 feet down a cliff, which resulted in her death, the sheriff's office said.

Authorities and search and rescue teams responded to an emergency call at around 1 a.m.

The sheriff's office did not immediately identify the woman or provide additional information about her death.
