Plans have been submitted to erect a 60ft-high telecoms mast and base station on a grass verge in Old Trafford .

Digital company Cornerstone has tabled the proposal for the land at Addison Crescent, close to its junction with Kings Road.

The application has appeared on Trafford council’s planning portal and is a notification under general permitted development regulations which cover such mast if they are below 97ft in height.
