The Seattle Kraken won’t be sneaking up on teams in the dark this coming season.

The NHL club revealed its alternate uniforms on Thursday and fans lit up on social media over a unique feature the new threads boast: They glow in the dark.

The team released a video and several photos of the jersey, with captain Jordan Eberle modelling the look in both standard lighting and in the dark.

The Kraken paid tribute to their name with a nod to the bioluminescence of some deep-sea creatures.

The team said that the design was “inspired by the haunting beauty of deep Pacific Northwest waters.”
