A Gautier Police Department officer and a Jackson County deputy were hurt in wrecks while on duty. The wrecks happened just minutes apart on Wednesday afternoon, according to WLOX.

Gautier Police Chief David Bever said the wrecks happened as both deputy and officer were responding to separate calls.

WLOX reported that one wreck happened on Gautier Vancleave Road and the other on Martin Bluff Road.
