Dubbed the “fancy” Coles, Coles Local has become a hub for all the supermarket essentials with an artisanal twist. As the name suggests, each store is tailored to the local neighbourhood it inhabits, spotlighting products from small, independent suppliers you won’t usually find in its big-chain sibling.

The supermarket chain first launched in Melbourne’s Surrey Hills in 2018, and has since expanded to thirty-seven stores across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and WA. Now, it’s finally making its way to South Australia, officially opening its flagship store early next month.
