SHREVEPORT, La. -- Three Shreveport police officers have been arrested in connection with a theft investigation.

Arrested are:

Officer Kourtney Jackson, 37, hired as a dispatcher in 2018 and transitioned to a police officer in 2023.

Cpl. Shanora Gipson Ross, 37, employed with the department since 2016.

Cpl. Tarogie Jones, 30, employed with the department since 2016.

They were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center Friday on charges of theft and malfeasance in office, Cpl. Chris Bordelon said in a news release.

The arrests stem from the alleged theft of items from a vehicle that was repossessed and towed last month. The officers were called to a Shreveport casino by a recovery agent, who noticed a large amount of items inside the vehicle he was towing.
