Members of the Indiana National Guard have been tasked with providing administrative, transportation and logistics support to federal immigration authorities operating at locations across the Hoosier State.
Officials confirmed Friday that approximately 40 Indiana National Guard soldiers and airmen have been mobilized by Republican Gov. Mike Braun, at the request of the U.S. Department of Defense, to aid U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities in Indiana.
