CAMDEN, S.C. — Downtown Camden will see temporary sidewalk closures beginning Monday, Sept. 8, as work finally gets underway on the new Haigler Hotel , according to Camden Police.
Pending approval from the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), sidewalks in front of the hotel site on South Broad Street and along Rutledge Street beside the construction zone will be closed. Safety fencing will be installed, and new signage will direct visitors to alternative handicap parking.
