HENDERSON, Ken. (WFIE) - Congressman James Comer and Kentucky Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy will hold a press conference to give an update on the I-69 Bridge project.

Officials say they will be giving an update on the progress at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 8.

The press conference will be after a tour of the construction.

Also in attendance will be Congressman Andy Barr, Congressman Mark Messmer, Congressman Jefferson Shreve, U.S. Senator Todd Young, Indiana Governor Mike Braun and more.

As we have reported, the Kentucky Public Transportation Infrastructure Authority has been moving forward with the new I-69 bridge project that will connect Henderson and Evansville.
