MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A relic from ages past is making its way to the Wisconsin Automotive Museum for a new exhibit.

A 1927 Nash Light Six was delivered to the museum on Friday, Sept. 5. It was restored back in 2019 after the owner purchased the rundown vehicle at an estate sale.

The owner took the car to Hartford by trailer, then once he got into town, the mechanic who found all the parts needed to restore the classic car drove it into the museum.

"This museum really specializes in the automotive industry of Wisconsin, and the car was originally designed and built in Wisconsin, and I can't think of a better forever home," said the car's owner, David Engels.

The Nash brand has quite the significance to Wisconsin. It was based out of Kenosha back in the early 19th Century.
