(NEXSTAR) – A New York-based company is recalling multiple lots of frozen vegetables after sampling done in Pennsylvania tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause potentially life-threatening illness.

The products under recall, sold by Endico Potatoes Inc., of Mount Vernon, are 2.5-pound bags of frozen peas and carrots, and frozen mixed vegetables.

The bags, bearing the Endico label, were distributed between July 18, 2025 and Aug. 4, 2025 to stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Florida, according to a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) news release Thursday.
