Frozen vegetables sold in several states, including New York, are being recalled for possible contamination of listeria monocytogenes.
Endico Potatoes of Mount Vernon, New York, is recalling Endico-brand Peas and Carrots and Mixed Vegetables, according to a notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The recalled products were distributed to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Florida, and Washington, D.C., through from July 18 through Aug. 4.
The product was packaged in frozen 2.5-pound plastic bags under the Endico label.
The affected products are:
