Hullo Ferries says it has filed for mediation with the BC Labour Relations Board to help with negotiating its first collective agreement, which the union says is a stall tactic during a busy sailing season.
In a statement on Friday, Hullo Ferries says it filed for mediation “to support ongoing negotiations toward reaching a first collective agreement with our union partner.”
“We remain confident that a fair and constructive agreement will be reached through good faith bargaining with mediation assistance. Our commitment to our team, our passengers, and the communities we connect remains our highest priority.”
