MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - With historically low water levels in many creeks and streams across the state, many folks are noticing all kinds of debris that’s usually covered. WCAX viewer Kathy wanted to know if there are plans to clean out the Otter Creek in Middlebury. As reporter Connor Ullathorne found out, there’s already a push this month to do that statewide.
Water trickles over the falls in Middlebury -- evidence of the drought gripping the region. But it was even worse a week ago -- as shown in photos sent to us by a viewer.
