HIGHLAND, Wis. (WMTV) - The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office released details about a suspect who was arrested after creating a disturbance, causing authorities to issue a shelter-in-place for the Village of Highland on Tuesday.

According to a Facebook post by the sheriff’s office, a 42-year-old was taken into custody following negotiations.

The Highland resident is facing charges of:

possession with intent to deliver THC (over 200–1000 grams)

terrorist threats

disorderly conduct – 5 counts

Dodgeville Police Department, Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Highland Police Department were among several of the agencies who responded to the disturbance.
