PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - Paducah police officers say they arrested a man after he threatened to carry out violence at Friday’s high school football game

Investigators say Shaundell Q. White, 18, of Paducah made threatening statements about the Paducah Tilghman High School football on social media.

Paducah Police Chief Brian Laid said, “We take threats like this very seriously. These actions will not be tolerated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Parents, students, and fans should know we will have an increased presence tonight. We are working closely with Paducah Public Schools to ensure tonight’s football game is a positive experience for those who attend.”

White was arrested and is being held at the McCracken County Jail.
