ESSEX, Vt. (WCAX) - Essex Police say two juveniles threatened to hurt other students at their schools.

Police say the kids, aged 12 and 13, sent threatening messages on social media to other kids. They included photos and videos of guns and threatened to harm the kids at the schools they go to.

Authorities on Friday searched two apartments at a complex located at 27 Susie Wilson Road. The two teens were cited into Family Court on charges of criminal threatening and disturbing the peace by use of telephone or other electronic communications.

Police say they also arrested Shawn Foy Sr., 60, of Essex, on an outstanding DUI warrant.

Joshua Limoge-Francis, 32, of Essex, was also taken into custody for impeding and assaulting officers.
