St. Thomas police have made an arrest after identifying a man they say was using his cell phone to film up a woman’s skirt at a Walmart in July.

A 31-year-old man from Lincoln, in the Niagara Region, faces voyeurism and theft under $5,000 charges following his arrest on Thursday, police said.

A suspect was identified after police asked for the public’s help on Aug. 19 and released images of the man who was seen inside the Talbot Street Walmart on Saturday, July 12.

A St. Thomas woman had reported two interactions with the stranger inside the store. During the second encounter, the man was seen using his phone to attempt to film under her dress, police said.
